Skated through HS; blew my savings for NTSU tuition and dorms; got kicked out academically; went to work and school part-time; raised my GPA; loans came due; enlisted.
Saw the world in North Dakota and Turkey; got married; left the USAF; came back to Texas; hrred on at a newspaper; became a reporter....Expand for more
Raising a son; loving my wife; trying to capture the boyish charm I never had; deciding whether Ican afford Alpo or Ken-L-Ration in my golden years.
Life is good -- just not the way I pictured it. Don't have a single regret except for passing on buying Netscape stock for $18 a share, and selling at $100.
