Wow, can't believe I haven't visited this site for over six years!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend our 20 year reunion. I was hoping there would be a 25 year reunion but guess I'll have to wait until 30 - OMG! How can it be almost 30 years since we were all hanging out, having fun and doing our "Richmond" thing??!!
Well, life for me is absolutely fantastic. I am so blessed in every way. I have changed in many ways, but I still love some good rock n' roll now and then and kicking back when I can.
I am married to an amazing man who is my rock (big time!) and my best friend. We will be celebrating our 7th anniversary in November...yes, I waited until I was 37 to get married! I just had to find THE right one. We have a beautiful, loving, sensitive, polite, funny, gorgeous 5 yr old little boy. I never imagined I would love being a mom so much. I've had much success in my banking career. I have worked in the financial services industry with Scotiabank for 29 years. I currently hold the position of Director & Team Lead, Private Banking. In addition to managing a team of Private Bankers, I work with high net worth individuals, primarily providing access to the capital they need (by lending them large amounts of $$) to continue to grow their wealth. If you had asked me 20 years ago if I would be the banker to some of the most widely recognized and wealthy people in BC, I would have laughed. It is a very fast paced, dynamic job and I really enjoy it.
My husband is an Interior Designer and works in the film industry designing sets, essentially bringing the Producers "vision" to life. So, I'm the banker and he's the "artsy" one, but he is savvy in many ways other than art.
We live in Vancouver.
