Yanisa's Story
After High School. I met and married Kenny Buice....he whisked me away to the ever changing south side of Atlanta. We have 2 wonderful children.Bromlynn (BJ) and Kenny Jr. Kenny Sr. went to work for Southern Airways as the Samsonite Gorilla. I worked various jobs, along with going back to school and raising the kids.
In 1985 Kenny had his choice of being relocated to Minneapolis, Memphis or Detroit. Minneapolis was completely out. Being from Detroit that was my first option. But after looking around and realizing the taxes were higher than the house notes, we opted for Memphis. In our move, I landed a career with Domino's Pizza as the office manager for a 9 store franchise. I went to work 2 weeks after we moved there and stayed until the day before we moved back to Atlanta in 1989.
When we returned to Atlanta I worked for the City of College Park and the City of Fairburn for a total of 8 years. I resigned with health problems. (which was the best thing that could have happened.)
After a time and recovery, I was offered a job in the telecom industry (because of my experience of working with elected officials.).

in 2006 I decided after Kenny's retirement that it was time for me to do what I wanted. I started my own Telecom company, and have been extremely successful as a site acquisition and zoning manager working for folks like ATT, T-mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Alltel. I cover the entire southeast....so if you hear of any additional work, please keep me in mind.
Last February my daughter gave me the most precious gift. Eli Gage. He is wonderful and the light of my life.
Kenny and I split our time between Atlanta and the North Carolina Mountains. We have just bought a place at Ormond by the Seas. Completed the remodel in October and am now looking for contracts to cover Florida....
I am looking forward to seeing and reacquainting with friends from Farmington High School and the friends I made in my short stay at Eau Gallie....You guys made me learn how to have fun and chill out!!! Thanks
Spending my senior year by the beach was every yankee childs dream....what a blast, being able to skip school and being 3 miles to the ocean, spending our days with the crews from different FIT frat houses and being in the sun. Thank you thank you thank you!
