Yolanda's Story
Life
After graduating from Bushwick, I went to Howard University where I graduated with a B.A. in Communications. Upon graduating, I headed back to New York in order to gain some work experience before going on to law school. I ended up getting a job working in a Human Resources department at a law firm and enjoyed it so much I decided pursue a career in HR instead. . In 2005, I was accepted to Johns Hopkins University, where I am pursing a masterÂs degree in Organizational Counseling.
I am truly blessed personally and professionally. Things have not been easy for me, but I have persevered. I am fortunate to be in a committed relationship and my family is doing very well. In terms of marriage and children, my goal right now is on finishing school, excelling in my career and just having fun.
