Susan's Story
After high school, I attended Pacific Lutheran Univ. in Tacoma, WA and graduated with an ed. degree. I married my best friend, Hank and we moved north of Seattle where we both taught school. Our first child was born and in 1984 we moved back to Modesto for 10 years where we had 2 more children. We retired from teaching and began purchasing apartment complexes. oenix, AZ where we continue to own and manage apartment buildings. Our children are grown and we are empty nesters! Our youngest daughter is married and we have our first grandchild! We are loving being grandparents but unfortunately, they live in the San Diego area, about a 51/2 hour drive.
My husband and I enjoy traveling, reading, cooking and entertaining.
