Yvette's Story
How to sum up 20 years? I failed out of U Lowell in spectacular fashion and went in the Air Force which brought me all over North America and dumped me in Southern California where I learned to surf and never accomplished much. Although they weren't productive years, my early 20's were fun.
I moved back east and settled in Hull over 10 years ago. Eventually I finished my degree while working for a law firm, both full time. My 30's have been remarkably fabulous and surprisingly more fun than...Expand for more
my 20's. I get to reap the rewards of all that hard work, have a pretty cool job, time for all my hobbies (writing, photography and surfing) surround myself with an eclectic mix of great people, laugh daily, and wake up every morning watching the sun rise on the ocean.
Recently, I have changed careers, not necessarily by choice but the economy. So instead of looking for the next job that will most likely cause brain atrophy and boredom, I teach English in Rome which is a very very cool job.
