Life
Hi there, after graduation I moved to Akron and went to Akron U. Joined a band then moved to Cleveland. Lived all over Cleveland. If you remember the all girl band "Lipstick" that was me! "I Want to be With You Tonight" was the hit song. There were a couple others after that. Then I moved to L.A. and lived all over there for 3 years. Played in a bunch of bands, almost got signed 3 times and just couldn't get it done! Was in a "Monday Night Movie of the Week" called "Chameleons" starring Christal Bernard(16 hours on the set for a small spot! ha!) After that crazy world, I dumped the band and ended up in Dallas. Have lived all over Dallas too! ha! I retired from the music biz and I went back to school and finished the degree I had never finished. I dabbled in various businesses and sales. Had a really cool online business for a while and then gave that up for the financial services industry. Became a principal in management and then got laid off from that when everyone else did in spring of 2001 so I started another online business!...Expand for more
So yep! I am still stuck in Dallas. Yeehaw! I will get out of here someday! ha! The 20 year reunion was such a blast! I can't wait until the next one! We should do a camping weekend or something like that! Wouldn't that be fun! Well that's about all for now! Love you! Yvette W.
Well, I better update this!! I was struck by lightning Memorial weekend of 2003. I died and came back to life and all that! I was completely paralyzed. It took 4 years to recover. And...that changed everything!!! I wrote a book about it that you get on powerbeyondthelightning.com. It's great to be alive! I went back to Cali for a couple years and hiked all over, which aided greatly to my recovery
(I couldn't walk for a long time and then couldn't walk very well for a long time but I can hike 12 miles now!!!) and now I am hanging out in Santa Fe. Will probably go back to Dallas at some point but not forever! Life is too good and too short to live in a flat place! lol! So I am still here on the planet! Can't wait to see all of you again and get your life updates!
