Yvonne's Story
Life
After graduating I joined the Navy. Spent 6 years in California, met my first husband, and we had 3 great children (Shelley, Robert & Suzanne). After 6 years we were transferred to Newport, R.I. It was beautiful there. When my husband got out after 10 yrs, we settle in his hometown of Houston, TX. After 21 yrs of marriage we just seemed to go in different directions and called it quits. I remarried 2 years later and we've been married now for 21 years. My son died of Kidney disease at age 34 in 1999. He was on his second kidney transplant. Life really changed for me after that. I've moved on with God's grace but I still have good and bad days. We left Texas in 2001 and headed for Cheye...Expand for more
nne, WY and loved it there but the elevation was too high (over 6000ft) and I developed COPD so we moved to Hot Springs, South Dakota. After 2 years in the beautiful Black Hills, hubby decided he wanted to go to Nebraska because he could make better money. That was a big joke...hahahaha. We will be moving back to Texas this summer to be close to my kids again.
I'm a cat lover and had 2 spoiled fur babies but both have now gone over the Rainbow Bridge. After we move back to TX I will then get a couple of more cats. I also have 5 wonderful grandchildren. I'm raising my grandson and he is a real joy to us. Well, guess that's about it for now. Probably more than you wanted to know....hahahahaha
