Yvonne's Story
I began my adult life with a career in graphic arts (S. Florida). I married in 1981 (the first time), bought a house in Melrose Park, and gave birth to my beautiful son (1983). Expecting my second child, I was frustrated with the myriad of people in S. Florida and wanted more space for my children to grow (safely) and play. So we moved to Rabun County, Georgia and I took time off to be at home and raise our two beautiful children, James Jobbitt (25 yrs old) and his sister, Stephanie Jobbitt (23 yrs old). I divorced and was a single mom for awhile.
In 1991, I married the love of my life and my very best friend! We live in the middle of the Chattahoochee National Forest, with our nearest neighbor 2 ½ miles away. Needless to say, the kids had lots of safe, fun, places to play (and trails to ride, rivers to swim, and places to hike).

e a teacher of students with special learning needs in 1996, and I loved it! However, this past year saw me looking again for change. So, I now teach an 8th grade English/Language Arts regular education class. I am excited, but scared to "step out" of what I know and have loved doing. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers (as well as all of my students)!
For fun and relaxation, I started scrapbooking about 11 years ago! I really look for relaxing activities because my husband drag races (methanol injected front engine dragster) & then owns his own glass & mirror business, my daughter is a LT in the US Army, flies helicopters, and is married to a 2LT. My son completed military duty in the US Navy(including a OIF/OEF deployment) and came back home to work on an Associates degree at our local tech school. We have 5 dogs and a horse. I also have to make time for the gym- at least 3 times a week, but more if I have time. Whew! Things are always shaking and moving in our home!
