Went 1year at Clarion State University and 70 to 71 went to Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona. Came back to Pittsburgh by way of Denver, Colorado. Worked on and off until January 30, 1974 when I enlisted into the United States Army. My career took me to Fort Huachuca, AZ. Then to Mainz, Germany. From Mainz, Germany I went to Fort Jackson, SC. Went to Nuremberg Germany for another 3 years where I was elected President of the largest bowling association in Europe. Back to the states to Fort Carson, Co where my son was born Zachary T. Booker II. Then to Bamberg, Germany where I became the City Champion for Bamberg, Germany. I also bowled the highest game in the Bamberg Bowling Center Under the team name of the Pinskiller. Where I beat the HOUSE RECORD of 288. I was supposed to receive a Cash Award but I was not allowed because I was an American. Desert Storm happen and one of my jobs was to deploy units. I Went from Mainz, Germany to Fort Riley, Kansas where I was asked to be on television in regards to the units being deployed. of being release if you were not considered to be at the top of your grade. Severance package was offer for us to go early but I had numerous friends which instructed me not to take that package and run. I stay and did my 20. Military has a long way to go but I feel pride in serving in the UNITED STATES ARMY. Race and equal opportunity has come a long way and I feel there is still too many instances to mention. I believe the US Army is the fore runner in Race Relations. I went to work for the SC Employment Security Commission which I am very thankful for the opportunity to work in the Legal Department for Employment Claims and later in my career I was (DVOP) Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialists & (LVER) Local Veterans Employment Representative. I was the Assistant Area Director and I became the manager. The Agency went through some changes for the worst but I was thankful for the job. People were in position to make decision in the Agency but there was trust issues through out the state. People were put in position of authority that had no business being in that position. More issues to follow so I simply retired from the state. My interests include BOWLING, fishing, exotic automobile, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. More about Zachary:"Bowler, exotic sport car, fisherman, games and movies.". I wants to find a woman that does not mind being a woman to settle down. More to tell!
