Sharon's Story
Life
Lived in Arizona and northern California from 1974-1998, working for the National Park Service as a Park Ranger doing emergency services (fire, disasters such as Hurricane Andrew in Florida, floods, special events at parks such as when Presidents and their families want to vacation at a national park). Have been on assignment from Guam to Washington, DC. In the summer of 1998, relocated to Littleton, Colorado, working for the Department of the Interior until 2004. Received a promotion to the Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration. Retired April 2008 after 31+ years of federal service. Retirement is better than I ever imagined!

o stay in touch with numerous Repetto and Keppel friends and I love that! We always say how growing up in the San Gabriel Valley was so wonderful in many ways. I do confess to missing the beach tremendously; Colorado is absolutely landlocked, but is a gorgeous state! We have a second home up in Estes Park, CO, in the Rockies, so we do quite a bit of hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and entertaining.
I am very involved with the Avon breast cancer walks, animal rights, and other causes near and dear to me. My family is terrific (husband Hal, daughter AJ who's 23, son Ben who's 25 and who just got married to Sarah, who we adore, and Annie, my foster daughter). Life is great!
