r 22 years retired. His career had us living back and forth across the country. We spent time in Colorado, North Carolina, Arizona, Alaska, Travis AFB California, back up to Alaska, then back to California. While it may seem to be too much moving, we really enjoyed living a military family life. While I'd enjoy getting together to visit with old classmates, I'd really like to see "The Cordobes twins" - lol. I rememer being in biolgy class with one of the twins, the both of them being on the swim team, and enjoyed "the force" that they seemed to generate. Nice guys the both of them. And what about "Tony" [I can't remember his last name]? The "class clown"? I have not seen his name listed anywhere. I don't really watch network televison, nor do I follow the media but I did get swept up in watching "The Sopranos", "John From Cincinnati", and "Huff" but of course they cancelled them. So I in turn cancelled the premium channels. I Tivo "Burn Notice", "The Closer", and "Saving Grace". Or, just watch L&O, Homicide Life On the Street, or "Monk" in one of their gazillionth multi-pete episodes. Life's biggest surprise: In California, one would have to do something mindshattering to be out of the ordinary. Here in Cincinnati, I'm somewhat of an enigma to people. Merely trying to explain the psychology behind "shades" or "good hair" [or the choice to boldly go without hair and be proud] is beyond them. Most here think California is defined by what they see on televison, much like Californians would think the midwest is defined by "Andy Griffith" or "Gomer Pyle" - well Californians and Mark Twain are right!~ My dress style: I choose to work a shift that accomodates my style needs: third shift/501's/Doc Marten's. If not, I would be forced into wearing stinkin polyester - appropriate daywear [eyeroll - not me]. Working third shift I come in on "my time" and attire of my choosing.
