Zane's Story
Life
Haven't seen most of you in a decade or two. Vicki and I will be married 33 years in June, 2010. Our older son, Cameron, is nowin law school in Florida. He was medically discharged from the Army after a serious hip fracture that left him with some disability. Our younger son, Calen, wil soon celebrate his first wedding anniversary. He married Lauren Kinard in May, 2009. They live in North Charleston and Calen's works with Comcast Cable. Vicki is still teaching CP English at Colleton County High School. I completed my doctoral studies at Luther Rice Seminary in May 2000. I have been serving at Director of Missions for 31 churches in Colleton Baptist Association since 1994. iff's Office. I serve as a sworn, certified deputy in reserve status. I am also a certified Crisis Intervention Specialist with NOVA (National Organization for Vicim Assistance). As a CIS, I spent two weeks in NYC (Sept 15-22, 2001 and March 16-23, 2002) working with Police Officers, Firefighters, and site workers at Ground Zero. I spent a little over a week in Gulf Coast Mississippi the week after Katrina. Though I have what most would consider a "white-collar" job, I still like shorts, Hawaiian shirts, jeans, and crocs AND I dress that way as often as possible. I keep my hair, at least what's left of it, cropped pretty close for now. Still a non-conformist at heart though. Now they call it "thinking outside the box." Isn't that great??
