Charlotte's Story
For the past 46 years I've been busy just enjoying and living life. I've always been busy in my church and with my children and now my grandchildren and great grandchildren. My husband and I have lived in Utah where we married, then the SF Bay Area, Monterey Bay area, several places in Southern Califonria and we are retired now to Las Vegas Valley were we had lived previously for 7 years. All of our children and grandchildren and great grandchildren live here as well. In that we are very blessed. My husband has been fortunate to have always had good and interesting employment which now provides us with the ability to live comfortably and do some of the things we want. We have a beautiful and comfortable home which is large enough that our whole family can get together in it. Our grandchildren visit often and we are able to do fun things with them. un and noisey at our home. As they have grown older our children have come to believe we are saints and brilliant. LOL It's nice to know we didn't do too bad a job raising them. Life is good.
As an update: Our grandkids are now turning into adults. We a few in college, one in the army and our great grandkids are now starting school. Gee, that means we are getting old. Yikes. We are slowing down that is for sure. We've done a little traveling, been very busy with all the family activities. My husbands parents sold their townhome in the Bay Area and are now living just a couple of blocks away. They are in their 80's and we are glad they aren't so far away. My parents are both gone now so we can concentrate on helping to care for them.
We have had lots of company over the last couple of years and we've enjoyed catching up with friends we haven't seen for years.
