After graduting High School I went to Santa Monica College for a year and half. Didn't really have a direction at that time. I was working for Vicente Foods in Brentwood and started working full time. I started working there in Jan '62. Uncle Sam was breathing down my back so I enlisted in the Navy. While in the Navy I spend time in Florida for class A school and then spend one year to the day in Adak Alaska. I had a Top Secret clearance and was always stationed on land. Just before leaving for Adak, I becamed engaged to my wife of 40 years. After the service I went back to college (CSUN) and recieved my BS in operations management. Went looking for a job and wound up back at Vicente Foods. I worked there for 45 years working my way up to General Manager and IT manager until Feb. of 2007 when I retired. My wife Amy a clinical psychologist and I have 2 children, Noelle 25 and Sean 22. Noelle is married and living in Seattle with her husband Rob who she met while attending Smith College.
