Aaron's Story
Life
After high schol I went to Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas Texas. During my second year ther, I married my jr. high school sweetheart. I graduated from CFNI and went to Dallas Baptist University to pursue my bachelors degree in psychology. We had our first son a month before we both graduated from DBU. We moved back to Oregon after graduation and after one year of working in residential treatment counseling, I enrolled in Lewis and Clark College's school counseling graduate program. graduate courses, and also doing assorted counseling practicums and internships, we also found time to bring two more sons into the world. After graduation we moved to Kotlik, Alaska (a Yup'ik Eskimo village) where I worked as K-12 school counselor, reading/writing/shop teacher, cross country coach, future teacher club advisor, academic decathlon coach, school site tech, and summer school teacher. During our second year in Kotlik, my wife gave birth to our fourth son. We are currently looking to settle down closer to family in Oregon or Washington.
