Aaron's Story
Life
So latest happenings:
On Oct. 9th, my good friend that I teach with and I ran the Chicago Marathon! It was by far the best-worst experience I've ever had. Finished in 4 hours and 50 minutes. I actually felt totally recovered after about 4 days, so overall I'm feeling really good about it. At this point I don't know if I'll ever do another one--the time commitment to the training is crazy--but I haven't completely ruled-out doing another one in Chi-town yet. My wife's aunt did the Iron Man Triathlon, and I'm thinking I'd like to try a mini-triathon... We'll see. My friend and I are already planning on doing a couple of small runs this next week, just so we don't totally lose all the endurance we've built up.
I'm excited that I can go back out to the soccer practices now and run around with all the high school players. And I'll probably play in the next indoor soccer session. Not to mention get back in the weightroom-- all that running and no lifting has made me pretty skinny.
Married life is beyond amazing... I'm so blessed to have such a great woman in my life. It's funny because we're very different in a lot of ways, but we just click. We're going to Fl. with her parents and sisters in early January for the Disney half-marathon. Although we...Expand for more
're not going to run it, just brisk walking. Should be fun though, and I know I'll love being in Fl. for a little during the harsh cold winter in KC.
I heard from Aaron Ramsey that the reunion was interesting. I've been telling myself that we'll be back for the 10-year, but there should be a couple little half-koreans tearin' stuff up by then, so who knows.
Well, there's a lot to do this weekend, so that's it for now.
I hope that everone is healthy, not workin' too hard, and enjoyin' life.
Take care, and God bless!

School
Every once in a while, I find this place again, normally because of emails...
And every time, I feel like I should say something...
But I'll keep it short.
Crushes?
Hmmmm... Carrie Musser, Andrea Ludwick, Dana Heles.
Most inspiring teacher?
Mr. Eller-- He was laid-back, talked about music (like Public Enemy), and told some good stories... Yeah, I'd do it all over again, but hopefully I could be a little smarter about, well, everything... Some of my favorite memories are from going out to lunch with the crew.
Soccer, art classes... My sophomore year I started to really get into partying...
Ehhhh, that's enough for now.
College
College = balancing soccer with partying with classes... Good times.
