Ada's Story
Married Larry Walsh1953. Moved to Bakersfield, went to work at Household Finance, Larry started College and went to work part-time at Oildale Tire. He lasted 1 semester, hated it so went to work full time. We had Pamela in 1958 and adopted Kirk at birth in1962. I worked several jobs through the years mostly as.stenographer or secretary and Larry ended up working in refineries. I retired several...Expand for more

In 2017 we moved to Lubbock because our daughter wanted to help take care of Larry who had been diagnosed with Alzheimers and was not doing well. Anyway he went.into Memory Care in 2018 and passed away in April 2019. He went into Care on our 65 wedding anniversary! So a widow.since and I hate it. Would move back to Bakersfield but I am too old.to move!
