As we have a nor’easter passing through New England, it’s been rainy, windy and cold all day! I’ll be dammed if I put the furnace on though, so I baked to warm up the kitchen.
Starting out from the trolley garage this morning. We will be picking up a bunch of 8 and 9 year old kids for a tour. This should be interesting. I’m sure they won’t listen to a word that I say.
I remember a conversation with my mother when John Paul II was elected pope. She said she really felt old when the pope was younger than her. This new pope, is 3 1/2 months younger than me, so I’ve reached that plateau wher
A gray Tuesday in May: Not a good day to be on the trolley today. No one came for my 10:00am tour, and looks like no one for 10:30, either.

Lovely morning to walk the common with the walking group.
If you live in Salem, visiting the exhibit at the Peabody Essex Museum doesn’t cost you a dime. Their show of Flemish art is only here until May 2, and it’s really amazing. Not all of the paintings are serious; there are so
Yard clean up. Lots to do here, and it’s 82°/28° at 4:30 pm. Amazing! Been a very cold and rainy spring this year. Well, I have certainly earned the first Pimm’s Cup of the season.
Daisy is not allowed to have tea here. The bottom of the sign says. "No cats please".
