Adele Kuczmarski:

Adele's Story
I always have such fond memories of St. Ann's, except when the nuns would fly down the aisle and hit the boys if they acted up. That wouldn't happen today. We had 84 children in one classroom until 7th grade, we were all together with one nun and everyone listened! With all these new websites, it's nice to hear about friends in our past lifetime. After leaving St. Ann's, I went to "Little Blshops" in Flushing and the last two years at Delehanty High School. Married my husband, Ed, who I met at my Sweet Sixteen party. He was in the band. We married at 20 years old which is unheard of today. We first had an apartment in Whitestone for two years, moved out to Locust Valley, and came to Manhasset in l978, because the commute was much better. I raised two boys who are now 37 and 34. ...Expand for more
Both my sons graduated from Chaminade HS. I do feel a Catholic education is a good thing! My one son, Jon, lives in Barrington RI with his wife and my other son Justin, is a Manhattanite for many years. I have been working in real estate at Coldwell Banker, Manhasset's office, for over 27 years and I truly love it. It's the action of putting a deal together, but the best benefit is that I meet so many terrific couples with children. . That's the greatest reward of having new friends that are younger... keeps me younger too! Love to hear from you. It's such a different world today with internet. I'm not as high tech as the younger generation, but I have to say, this is a nice website to reconnect and to hear about our graduating Class of 1964 and where they are now. My best, Adele
