In high school I worked at Rotten Ronnie's - I don't talk about that much now (just kidding!). It was about the only place a kid who grew up in a sabbath keeping Doomsday Cult could get a job. They had flexible schedules, so they could, you know, be flexible about my time off.
I also was an Avon lady - did that when I was about 11 to - um - I dunno - the time I started at Rotten Ronnie's? I'm not sure, my mom would remember. I also used to babysit. I loved doing that. Fridge benefits were awesome (yes you read that right!)

I worked in a library at college and at the U of A (long story, ask me). At the U of A I became a teacher, and eventually co...Expand for more
mpleted my Master's in Deaf Education, so that's what I did for a while after I moved to Calgary. THEN - because Ralph and Mr. Dinning were making a ton of cuts to programs, it was deemed that I was too expensive with a Master's, so I substituted, and eventually took a great position as a consultant to the Hearing Impaired.
Later I accepted an offer to work as an sign language interpreter in the Catholic system, and never went back to teaching. My volunteer work sort of took over from there. So I pursued that, and now I'm a talent scout for a global business - looking for people with potential to work on a global team.
