Adena's Story
Life
I am currently working part-time at Boston Medical Center on a public health research project having to do with hypertension and a unique automated-telephone intervention that gives health advice to the study subjects. For two years prior to that, I was working at Harvard School of Public Health on a research project having to do with improving nutrition and physical activity in children. Prior to that, I was home for 2 years taking care of my son from birth until he was about 2.
Now my son is almost 5, and will be starting Kind...Expand for more
ergarten in the fall!
I have been married for 7 1/2 years to my husband Arnie. We met in 1990 and starting dating in the fall of 1991. Arnie is a software developer. He has had several medical challenges these past few years that have been difficult for our whole family, but he is doing much better now and will celebrate his 50th birthday this summer.
In addition to working and taking care of my son, I enjoy creative writing, gardening, reading, folk music, folk dancing (when I have the time), and having a little time for myself :-)
