Life After high school I attended Kansas State University for two years. Met my first husband there and got married after my sophomore year (yes, not the greatest decision, but it has turned out okay). We had two daughters while I was working various secretarial jobs. Quit work to return to Washburn University when I was 32...found out I was pregnant with daughter number three right when I started back. Went ahead and finished my degree in Computer Science. Worked in that field until I retired in 2006. Along the way my first husband and I divorced in 1994 after 23 years of marriage. I remarried a wonderful man in 2002 who had two daughters that he was raising, so am now the proud parent of five daughters.
