Ailsa's Story
Life
I am married with a eight year old son and a six year old daughter. I have been a registered nurse for the past eleven years with specialties in cardiac and surgical intensive care. I moved to Hickory North Carolina, right after graduating from VGH. From there I moved with my husband to Detroit Michigan. We then got transferred to Tucson Arizona where we lived for five years. e put roots down in Las Vegas Nevada, where I am the Assistant Director of Nursing for a hospital and my husband is a Senior Project Manager for Harrah's Entertainmet. I am also a student at UNLV working on my Masters in Public Health. Some of my most proudest moments in my career occured when I spent a month in New Iberia Louisanna after Hurricaine Katrina working as a nurse in Red Cross shelter.
