Aimee's Story
Life
I'm a single student at UT, graduating this May (2007) in biomedical engineering, and heading to grad school in biomedical sciences next fall to enslave myself for yet another 5 yrs of my life (but this time they pay me!). Then on to my post-doctorate and then hopefully professor & researcher. I'm very close to my family and my best friend April. I have two brothers, one is a truck-driver and airplane pilot, one is a personal trainer at Gold's Gym. My mom was a nurse and my dad an electrical engineer. I have 2 cats, and both my parents each have a weiner dog. I like tattoos, piercings, rock music and heavy metal, thrillers and Japanese horrors, smoking (I quit last week...I miss it so!), playing pool, and dancing at clubs. and paintings. I love novels by John Grisham, Richard North Patterson, James Patterson, Stephen King, and Dean Koontz, to name a few. My fave actors are Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, to name a few.
I hate Bush, think we should get our boys out of Iraq, think that our government is corrupt as far as being of the rich instead of being of the people, am Lutheran but generally think that organized religion was the worst thing to happen to spirituality, think that the government should lay off smokers and crack down on alcoholism more, and legalize pot (not that I smoke it... anymore). I'm pro-choice and have no respect for people who try to force their opinions and morality on others (a.k.a. Fundamentalists). Well, that's all I can think of right now...To be continued, I guess.
