Aimee's Story
Life
Since high school, I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in May of 2000 and hung around Mandeville to teach eighth grade Earth Science and assistant coach the girls volleyball team at Boyet Jr. High in Slidell. I have moved to Atlanta, Georgia to teach sixth grade Physical Science, eighth grade Earth Science and Algebra 1, and to coach the eighth grade cheerleading squad at a middle school right outside of Atlanta. t nationalities that are represented in my classroom. My job is very challenging but I absolutely love what I am doing. I don't know that I am any different than I was in high school except for the fact that I have retired my bell bottoms and cut my hair. I still wear a smile, crack the worst corny jokes, and make up stupid songs off the top of my head but I guess I have found a place that understands my odd humor, a middle school classroom. I'm single with no kids and enjoying "Hotlanta" and all of the friends I have made.
