t NWA was my first year there. I had been in public school in the Galena Park ISD most of my life. While at NWA, I made some great friends and a few I still keep in contact with. After teaching for 3 years in public school, and remembering the happy days of my high school career, I have decided that I will not return to teaching until I can find a position in a small Christ-centered private school like the one we were privileged enough, and had parents willing to sacrifice enough to allow us to attend and graduate from NWA. College I started out at Baylor as a foresnic chemistry major until I decided that the sight of blood made me sick. Then on the advise of my mother, took a couple of accounting courses in the Business school. During that same semester I took a computer class and found my future. I quickly changed majors to Computer Science and worked on getting my teaching certificate to have something to fall back on. In 1997 & 1998 I also attended Texas State Technical College to get the Networking and Systems Administration part of computers that Baylor didn't offer. I graduated in 1998 and then went back to school for another year to take more Computer Science classes that weren't required for my education degree and finished my minor in American Sign Language.
