Alan's Story
Life
When I left Huntington in Sept.of 69,I did'nt come back untill I had roamed up and down the California coast line, mountains and deserts.I lived in many places.Went to school ,surfed, snow skied and did a stint in Hollywood.I lived next to Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boy's for awhile. The four Dimensions got together for a bit out in Venice.I got married, moved to Florida, got divorced and learned a trade.I then spent the next 20 years in construction.I lived on some sweet little islands while building allsorts of sub-division's,townhouses and hi-rise condo's.All the while having rock band's and playing all different venues.I am still at it in Jersey and Pa.Huntington still calls to me.I wish I had never left.I have a boat again and I miss Huntington harbor,Northport and Cold Spring harbors. Now ,with classmates,so many people have come back to write notes and share what they have done in the last 40 years. It's so cool to hear from all of you!

p for induction.I had only spent a couple of years at Huntington High. Before that my parent's sent me to Military school.I was already prepared for what was ahead of me in the upcomming month's of training..... Needless to say I fooled everyone into thinking I was on the ball. The last thing I wanted was to be cannon fodder.I could have cared less about Viet Nam,or anything related to going to interesting places, meeting the people who live ther, and then killing them! With the infinite wisdom the government had,at that point in time, they trained me to do top secret cyrpto communication's with assorted units here and there....I was not in agreement with the politics of the war, still arent,I am sorry for all the kid's that got sent out to do an impossible job.I miss all my commrads that did'nt make it back.! As of today,I am adding that the world has changed so much, that the time we all spent growing up together finding our first loves, making our first mistakes, having the times of our lives, will always be looked back on with happiness. Those were the best days of our live's.Freedom of youth.
