Originally from Chicago, (Armitage & Halsted), now lives in Glenview, Illinois. Married with 5 children and 4 grandchildren. Schools include Lane Technical High School. Alan later attended Wilbur Wright College. This was followed by graduation from Northwestern's School of Respiratory Therapy 1975. Closest to his heart are children with disabilities and special needs. Enjoys gardening and genealogy. Enjoys the music of the late 50' through the 60's and basically anything that features Frank Sinatra. Is very active and believes in conditioning. Movies; appreciates most of the work done by Robert De Niro especially, Mean Streets, Godfather II, Deer Hunter and Raging Bull. TV shows ranking of all time; #1 The Honeymooners.
