Alan's Story
Life
After graduation I attended Orange Coast College where I earned a swimming schorarship to the Universtiy of Denver. Before graduation from DU in 1958, I married a girl from Denver. After graduation I began teaching in the Denver Public Schools, but soon took a military leave to serve as a Naval Officer in Kodiak, Alaska. My daughter was born there in 1962. We returned to Denver in 1963 and I continued my teaching career. My son was born in Denver in 1964. My wife and I were divorced in 1976, and I remarried. rried my present wife, Joanne, in 1989, and we continue to build our relationship with our Lord and Saviour. Joanne's son has three children, so we have a total of seven grandchildren who are all in the Denver/Colorado Springs area. I retired from High School Counseling in 1991, built our retirement home on 6 1/2 acres of pine forest on the eastern plains of Colorado just south of the small town of Kiowa. I have recently become an Independent Business Owner with a giant
e-commerce shopping mall powered by Quixtar, and have put our RV traveling on hold while we build our business. May God bless you all, and I hope your life has been as full and meaningful as mine has been.
