Alan's Story
Life
I have been fortunate to be associated with the Space Indusry and have been to several launch bases in the world. Florida, China, Japan, Kazachstan and French Guiana. I have also worked in other aerospace companies and in the Semiconductor industry.
I was a Skydiver and stopped after 250 jumps and two malfunctions and survived them both which is why this is a biography and not an obituary.
I suppose the most exciting thing to happen to me was when I was in China in 1996 and the Chinese rocket our...Expand for more
satellite was on, veered off course and hit a mountain instead of us in the mission control center. I survived but lived to testify before the justice dept in washington D.C.
Other than that I have lead a pretty ordinary life. I do love to travel though and plan to see most of Europe while I am here in Stuttgart Germany.
I am still an avid learner and love college DVD courses
I am now employed by Space System/Loral. I live in Germany.I am happily married to my wife Colleen. Life is so good!!!!!
