Alan's Story
I married Sharon Henry in 1979 and we have three children and four grandchildren. After a six-year English teaching career, I became a youth minister for a few years and then a pastor of Baptist churches in Montana, Colorado and Michigan for 32 years until retiring. Along the way, I've run three marathons: New York City, Portland, and Niagara Falls. I wrote, produced and starred in two faith-based, family movies titled "Sidewalk Singer" and "Mr. What," which were released on DVD in 2013 and 2014 and currently stream on several platforms. My third movie, "Fly Old Bird", is scheduled for its World Premiere on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 2:30 and 7 pm at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts in Tecumseh, MI. I was inducted into Belleville High School's Distinguished Graduate Hall of Fame in 2000. Praise the Lord!
