enlisted in the navy after graduation. went to boot camp in San Diego, Ca. from there to communications school in Pensacola, Fl. then to Cheltenham, Md. for my first duty station. then to defence language institute in Washington, D.C., after that to the usns jose f. valdez for a sea tour off the ...Expand for more
coast of africa. got out for a couple of years than re-enlisted. married a girl from the d.c. area. we then went to morocco, scotland, virginia, spain, alaska, and back to virginia where i retired from the navy in 1988. we settled here in Virginia Beach where i now work for a pest control company.
