Life After graduation I went to Elon and majored in Elementary Ed. I moved to Charleston SC after college and worked on a Psy. Unit at the county hospital. I got a teaching job. I taught 6th,7th and 8th grades. I received my masters from the Citadel and became Assistant Principal then Principal of Marrington Middle School. I am currently Pincipal of Sangaree Elementary School in Summerville SC. I was the Treasurer of the SC Middle School Assocation. I'm married, my wife retired from Clemson as a county agent. I have two kids, Matt (28)and Katie (24) I work part-time at Shadomoss Golf Club and play whenever I can. School Southern was my second home. Dad started teaching at Southern in 60-61, so I grew up there. I didn't really want to leave. Which is why I was in the school musical my freshman year of college. I think back on some of the things we did and wonder how we made it to graduation. (no details I'm still afraid they could take back my diploma) I don't think the kids now enjoy high school as much. The memories are fading, but I still recall the Belles and Sons with Allen Thacker, Drama club, taking pictures for the yearbook (thanks to Barry Lee for giving me the key to the darkroom and Mrs. Jones for letting me get out of almost every class my SR year), driving the activity bus, driving as a sub bus driver for the girls on Fridays when they had dates.
