Albert's Story
I joined the Army in September of 1969. I was Infantry, Airborne, Ranger, and Special Forces (Green Beret). I was assigned to 5th Special Forces at Fort Bragg. I completed the Fort Benning, U.S. Army Ranger Program and was "tabbed" in 1971 while still assigned as a Green Beret with 5th Special Forces. I left active duty in 1972. ssigned to 12th Special Forces.) In 1981, I received my commission as an Officer in the Army and did another 30 years retiring in 2011 as a Colonel having served on 5 continents. Along the way, I got my Private Pilot flying license, a Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and raised a beautiful family. Truly Blessed. Still seeking new adventures and challenges!
