Life
Currently working as a Deputy Sheriff for Overton County, yeah, who would believe it? I really enjoy it though. Get to meet alot of people, and do alot of good things. I really feel like I helping make a difference. Sorta my way of giving back to the community. Been with the Overton County Sheriff's Dept. sinced May of 2005. Different kinda job, but I think I should have done this 25 to 30 years ago. It really is alot of fun most of the time. ve it here. Twenty years in the Army, and all I wanted to do is get home. I've done enough traveling for awhile. There are still a few places I would like to visit. But I won't feel like I've been deprived for not seeing them. Just wanted to sit on the porch and sip lemonade, well sometimes anyways. Would like to meet old friends, but don't know how, or rather where. That is one reason I like my job, get to meet alot of good people, yeah, some butt heads too, but alot more good, solid types, than bad ones. I also get to make new friends, and noone has too many friends.
