Albert's Story

Known at school as Leon, and in the yearbook as Leon. If you want some amusement, or bewilderment you can check my blogs at website aleonmiler. “Box of Blackness” is one of my favorites, as is “In Response to the Question: What is Avant-Garde?”, and, “Platypus and Lady”, also website 3cranesart for my art. I went to Rex Putnam High School from 1965 to the fall of 1967, and Arlington High School from the winter of 1967 until graduation in 1969. I graduated from Arlington High School, and later attended Portland State University, as well as a graphic arts school, t...Expand for more
hough the most relevant study was with a master restorationist, Bill Yelland, in Orange County, CA. He taught me more about painting than any other source. Favorite quotes include: "Lead, follow, or get out of the way." small town motto from Texas "Luck's a chance, but trouble's sure..." A. H. Houseman's "Terrance this is Stupid Stuff"". "By this all men will know that you are My disciples if you have love for one another..." (the problem lies with living up to it.) More about Leon:"Who I am: Married 53 years, 2 daughters, a bunch of grand kids... I can be found on social media as Leon Miler or google my name for contact..... What I Do: graphic arts, design guy, painter, photo restoration, occasional writer, organic gardener, maker of odd things...".

Ah, the divine attributes of lettuce. Or as T. S. Eliot would say (and there's no BS like T.S.) "Lettuce go then, you and I,
When the evening is spread out against the sky
Like a patient etherized upon a table...."
