James Matthew's Story

Life One of the biggest and more noticeable changes has been my name. In 1980, for reasons that would not be clear until 22 years later, I changed my name from Albert Matthew Huff to James Matthew McCracken, "Jamie." After graduation in '77, I returned to Mt. Angel Seminary. I left the seminary after the death of my mother. In 1979 I was hired at Pacific NW Bell. After 23 years, I took early retirement and left to pursue more "fun" things. nd novel, "Charlie MacCready The Ghost in the Attic" came out. It's the first in a series of five books inspired by the stories I heard and growing up at Mt. Angel. In 2005, book two, "Charlie MacCready Shadows in the Dark," was published. I'm currently working on the third, "Charlie MacCready Sirens in the Night". I enjoy writing and have received very positive reviews. In 1984, I moved to Oregon City and bought my first home. UPDATE: 09/27/09 As of today, I have bought a house in Redmond, Oregon and have made the move to a quieter, slower paced life. I hope, lol. Drop me an email. I'd love to hear from you.
