Albert's Story
Life
I retired from Boston University in September 2004 and returned to family and friends in Oakland.
Born (1939) and raised in Oakland, member of the 2nd Armored Amtrack Company, USMCR (Treasure Island) 1956-62, graduated from San Francisco State Universisty with BA/MA (Sociology). I taught at colleges and universities

ety of clerical and student service jobs at local colleges before getting divorced and moving to Boston to work on an international arts exchange project. After a couple of years I got a job as history department administrator at Boston University from which I retired. Over the years I have travelled throughout the U.S. as well as 25+ countries in Latin American-Caribbean, Asia, Europe and Africa.
Enjoy retirement, especially spending time with my grandson.
