Life
So let's see... I've been up to a lot in the last 20 something years. I had three kids. My son Steven is 19, daughter Alexandra is 18 and Kirstie (the baby) is 17 and graduates this year. I've been single off and on (mostly on) for most of their lives and have been lucky that they turned out ok with only me around to guide them. I worked for the same company for 12 years, and just recently started going back to school to do something in the healthcare field. I live in Bakersfield, California, and have for the last 15 years. I love to travel, although most of the time it's going back to AZ to visit family and friends. I love going to concerts, and drive to LA quite a bit to attend them. My job allowed me to schmooze with celebrities a little, which was fun, but at the end of the day they are the same as anyone else. I have spent most of the last 15 years devoting my time to raising my kids and working. We've had our good times and bad, especially when my dad passed away, that was tough. So now that they are all nearly out of the house I am doing more things for myself than I ever have. I go to all of the football games to watch my daughter in the color guard, and still chauffeur any of them who needs a ride to one place or another, but mostly I just go to school. :)
In October of last year (07) my youngest, Kirstie, was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma. We spent the better part of 18 weeks at UCLA Medical Center while she underwent chemotherapy treatments. It was rough, but she is clear and what is left is inactive. :)
I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me. I've been in contact with a few friends that I had lost, and got reconnected thru this site.
