What have I been up to?
After GEHS, I attended U of I, which was really fun, and received my degree in in materials science and engineering in '97. A glutton for punishment, I moded to Akron, OH (rubber capital of the world) and went to school there another 5 years to get a PhD in polymer science. 2, I moved to Philadelphia (also a fun city) and worked at a small college there for a few years. I married in '04 and in '05 my wife and I moved to Boone, NC. I'm currently an assistant professor of chemistry at Appalachian State University (a name familiar to college football fans). My wife and I have bought a fixer-upper and have adopted a Jack Russell from the animal shelter.
