Alice's Story
Once upon a time, a very long time ago, I lived in Coventry, Rhode Island. After 12 yrs of the public school system, I graduated from CHS in 1969. Although no one in my family had ever attended college before I applied, attended and graduated from RIC in January, 1975 and then quickly hopped on a plane to join my husband of 2.5 yrs in Bamberg, Germany. Stationed at the Nike Site in 1971, he showed up on my door step and it has been love ever since! We have a son and a daughter as well as 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. I am a Holy Ghost Filled, Baptized in Jesus' name Apostolic Pentecostal Christian. Jesus Christ is the priority of my life.
I enjoy working on my genealogy, spending time with Hubby and my 2 German Shepherds as well as Peaches, our Macaw, cruising, and spending time with Dad in Coventry (during the summer, that is-he's a snowbird!)
It disturbs me to see so much commercialism and housing developments in Coventry but with Dad's help we are still able to find many small dirt roads leading us to the town I remember.
