Alice's Story
Life is what you make it... carpe diem!
Born in Germany, lived and raised in France then emigrated to USA when a teen - learned English at St. Hubert's and grew up confused, Was a serious Art Student of Sr. Paul Marie's famous art classes and after 1965 graduation went to study at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and also Fleishers Art Memorial. Have survived many crazy life trials after H.S. but always did prevail in the end. While many of my best laid plans were detoured by fate, my legacy, pride and joy of my life are my two children that I raised as a single parent as they are both worth leaving behind as testimony of my life. Now enjoying the fruits of my labor and sacrifices and would do it all over again -- but much better -- if I only knew then what I know now - but struggles do reap their rewards. Comfortable in my own skin now and living comfortably happy and single in Lower Merion, PA. Still searching for meaning of life and what is it really all about??? Contact me if you find and or know the answer. Very proud that son Robert Devers put himself through WCU on a Lacrosse scholarship then got Master's Degree from St. Joe's. ille Charter School and still coaching Lacrosse. Robert married Tracy Stoudt on June 1, 2007 who both share a wonderful happy life together. Their baby, my treasure Rya Fay was born April 1, 2009 and a new baby is now expected end August 2010. My daughter Heather Murphy graduated cum laude from Temple Dance Department on a scholarship. Heather married Mark Monteith (an architect by day and Jazz Musician by nights) who have two beautiful kids - grandson Max is now 7 and in first grade at Friends Select and his sister Isadora now 4 born on Sept. 3, 2006 is now in Kindergarten.
Granchildren delight my heart with joy and find it a miracle knowing that they are a part of me. Just hoping they will all grown up to make a difference for a better world some day!
If you wish to reacquaint or chat about high school memories, you can reach me at home 610-664-2750 and I do look forward to hearing from you.
