Alice's Story
I went to the University of Oregon and stayed in Eugene seven years. I have a BA and MA in English from UO. Then I moved to Wisconsin, then Boston, then eventually to Maine in 1983 to go to law school. I got my JD in 1986.
I have a small press that has published 86 poetry books since 2003. 25 poems have been read on The Writer's Almanac on NPR. Check out my website - google Moon Pie Press.
I teach at the University of Southern Maine - business law, part time.

Port Veritas, a spoken word organization in Portland, Maine.
I have 3 cats and a dog, all rescued. Moved to Maine in 1983 to attend law school (graduated 1986) and am still here almost 30 years later. Went to the 10-year W-L reunion in Arlington but have not been back since.
My family moved to California the day after I graduated from W-L, so I lost touch with too many friends. I did stay in touch with my English teacher Capt. Arthur and saw him twice after I graduated.
