Alice S's Story

Life Moved from Manchester, NH to Tulsa, OK in June 1995. Winters here aren't too bad, though someone needs to teach Tulsans how to drive on ice and in snow! However, summers I would much rather be back in New England. The ozone problem here during the summer months is very bad, and not really getting better. Reconciliation w/ex didn't work out, he's recently moved out of state (Yea!!!), so I'm back on my own. Should be on SSDI, but the govt. doesn't share my opinion. Tried Voc-Rehab, but hasn't worked out well yet. Had to have case closed due to medical & psych problems. Sobriety-wise I have a little over 3 years now. I no longer go to PSR--they don't understand the concept of putting principles above personalities. Spiritually/religiously speaking, I am a Christian Druid now and have been for several years. ng the grove (congregation) I belong to, though the same problems that caused my VR case being closed, also drastically affect my ability to do so. My son, Tarl, is now 25-yrs old, and is living in Lowell, MA with to his father. Communication was re-established a few years ago, but is now getting better, but, as long as I can get internet access at the library (and can get myself out of apt to do so), the lines of communication improve, Look forward to hearing from old friends. .................... to update to July 2013 lots of things have changed in my life, will return here at some point to really update things, but you can find me on facebook now, so please, if you're wanting to get in touch and you're on facebook as well, send me a pm please so i know who you are, for i'm being a wee bit finicky atm about whom i add there (will explain why when you contact me)
