Alicia's Story
Life
Well first of all, I grew up in the military and pretty much lived most of my childhood in Louisiana. I went to England Air Force Base Elementary from Kindergarden to 6th grade. Then on to Alexandria Junior High until 8th grade. That is where I found my love for band. I was also a cheerleader in 8th grade. From there I moved to Texas for almost a year and went to Johnston High School in Austin. I was on the pep squad for the football season. My dad then got stationed in New Mexico and so we moved to Clovis and I unfortunately got sent back to Junior High because that's where 9th grade is in New Mexico. I soon retired my pom poms and got back into the band. Best decision ever. After junior high I went into High School at Clovis High. I was in Art Club and yes, ofcourse, still in band. I have so many wonderful memories about being in the band. I met some wonderful friends through the years and wouldn't trade it for anything. My senior year was a little difficult with the breakup of my highschool sweetheart Toby ...Expand for more
but I got through it. After highschool I attended Clovis Community college but soon dropped out to take care of my mother who was diagnosed with Cancer. After about 2 years she got better and so I packed my bags and moved back to Austin. I have to admit that I hated it here the second time and couldn't wait to leave. I got an invitation to move to Ohio and I couldn't refuse. I lived in Ohio for about two years and loved every minute of it. Life on the farm was great, but being so far away from my family made it really hard. I made the decision about four years ago to move back to Austin. I love it so much this time. I have gone back to school and am really enjoying the Austin life. It is pretty layed back here, and so much to do. Anyway, that is a basic outline of my life so far, except for a few details here and there. I have to say that i have made some really wonderful friends along the way and I am sad to say that I have lost contact with some of them. I would love to hear from everyone that remembers me.
