Alicia's Story
School
I would not do high school over again for anything. The best year in high school for me was my senior year spent in Brasil. I loved most of my classmates, but high school is such an ackward time and I am going through it with my kids - I wouldn't want to do it again myself!
College
When I returned from Brasil I attended Western Business College in Portland and majored in Travel and Tourism. I got my first real job there with an airline that quickly moved me up to Seattle. Most recently I have gone back to college at Central Oregon Community College to work on a degree. I am focusing on foreign languages and hope to be able to 'sell' myself as tri-lingual.
Workplace
I worked for World Airways and Horizon Air, as well as a few different travel agencies in the Seattle area. As things turned out, Seattle was one of the biggest mistakes of my life (hind sight is always 20/20) I moved back to Canby and worked in Vancouver and Portl...Expand for more
and for a while. I left the travel industry, got married, had my 3rd and 4th children - became a volunteer room parent, PTA mom, soccer mom, baseball mom, wrestling mom and Jr.ROTC mom!
My favorite way to relax is either a good hike in the mountains or on the beach or a good 90-minute massage given by a young, swedish man!!
I would LOVE to get reacquainted with my friends from Colton Elementary...I have seen Cheryl M, Kerry B, Mark C and Robert H, but I would love to see Kelly M, Kelley M, Kelly K, Jeff E, Jesse S, Ronald S, Marc A, Molly M, Kyle E, Lori L, Candy C, Pat S among others. I miss that gang - some of my best school memories were with you guys!
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and add on a sun room. My dream home would be in Salvador Brazil with a view of the ocean.
I have a 'face book' and can be found on orkut and google talk. Check it out. There are more photos there and I read messages on those daily.
