Alina's Story
Life
After finishing highschool i went straight to university at Western in London, where I studied for 10 years!! I completed three degrees: BA in Kinesiology, HBSc in Human Nutrition, and BSc in Physiotherapy. I stayed in london one year post completion of physiotherapy and practiced at south street hospital there. I then moved to Toronto to work as a private consultant but didn't like and missed the hospital setting. I started a position at Mt. Sinai hospital in general medicine and then took a permament position in ICU at MT. Sinai hospital last sept (2004), which I love! I've been doing some travelling and I went to europe for my first time which was amazing-France, Holland and Germany for 3 weeks, stayed with friends and family living there so had the whole emmersion experience. ing salsa and all the other latin dances for 11 years and now perform at shows with a Dominican dancer, just performed at Holt Renfrew's Girls night in april 16th, was so fun!! I love latin culture but have international friends of all cultures. I'm out dancing every weekend, con mi latinos y otros, lol. I now want to learn belly dancing and Flamenco. Would love to move to Spain someday or maybe retire in south america, where I can run my own wellness centre/spa. I now live in San Antonio Texas at a hospital downtown, covering ICU and vascular floors. Speaking spanish daily and dancing salsa every weekend once again. Hope you are all well and happy, Chao!
