Life
Let's see... life as I know it. After graduating high school, I spent 4 wonderful years in the community of Luther College. I graduated magna cum laude with a religion major and double minor in biology and environmental studies in May 2004. I have spent the last three summers working out west at Lutheran camps as a high wilderness guide - i.e. leading high school students on backpacking trips in the Rockies for 4 nights and 5 days in a shot. I spent two years as a student at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, working part time as a chaplain at a downtown hospital for 8 months. The school was all wrong for me, or the timing in life was wrong, or something.
So I ventured back to Colorado. Lived and worked in the Denver area for nearly two years. Craving a return to grad school and another change, I will soon be moving to Iowa City with one of my college roommates. Grad school or bust for fall 2009!
