More about Allen:"Well for many of us it has been years since we have talked and had some time to catch up. I hope this finds you well and that you are happy and healthy.
I have had the opportunity to see some of you and work with some of you in different forums. Life certainly has a way of marching by very quickly. It is my hope that we can stay connected with this amazing tool of Face Book. It seems to be a little overwhelming at times, but awesome too.
I had a chance to go to college right after high school locally in San Diego at USIU for their Performing and Creative & Visual Arts. It was really liberating but yet humbling. I got frustrated with the lack of performance time I had. So in my angst I changed my major to television & film making. Made a few videos on campus then went and interned at KUSI and worked in production and learned a ton. I had an awesome mentor who was a producer from back in the day and he introduced me to some big wigs in Hollywood. That was fun, amazing & crazy! There are so many neat and amazing people out there and you all have touched my heart in so many ways.

oment. That's what life is full of ever changing moments. Hold onto the good and let go of the bad.
I had a wonderful chance to be able to give back to one of the most amazing people in my life, my mom. She was diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago, she decided she was going to do things her way, not the doctors way. I respected her wishes and did exactly what she wanted, how she wanted it. I was being the good little girl, but hated it. She only lasted 2 years after being diagnosed with size of 1cm. It took over her whole body then into the bones. That is what happens with any kind of cancer that isn't caught. It goes to the bones. One of the hardest things I have had to do is watch someone die slowly. I would sneak her vicodine to help with the pain, I just wanted to do something, but that was all I could do. I was able to take care of my grandfather, her dad for 6 months 'til he passed. I wouldn't trade it.
I hope that all the years that we were friends, that you will forgive me for the lack of character that I may have not possessed as young teen or the etiquet that young girls should have. But to remember that we all start from somewhere with the tools we were given, some good, some bad. But they have shaped us into the adults we are today and what we choose to do with them is more vital than ever today!
In a consumptive world we can loose ourselves very quickly, and be lost for years not knowing it.
But just know that there are friends among you and connections you have made that will be with you forever. May you carry this with you all the rest of your days. The greatest relationship above all is the one you have with God, I hope that you all have that chance to find him, he is waiting for you to ask him to be your friend. I love all of you and thank you for being my friends.".
